I wish to extend my thanks to you and the team at HRG for the excellent work that you did for our major recruitment efforts with our mining growth project (Misery Pit) at the EKATI Diamond Mine. The depth and years of experience HRG provided to bolster our team’s capacity made a significant difference to the successful start of the project, and the longer term development of our HR people.
All HRG business partners related well to the customer, regardless of their level of work or background. This included site based engineers and operational personnel equally to professional and functional experts. The project could not have been successful without this relationship foundation. Your team was also very responsive to ensuring the deadlines and bulk recruitment which had to be conducted was done within an expedited manner and to our quality standards.
It is with pleasure that I recommend the work of HRG to any perspective business looking to secure your services.

Please accept this personal reference for Lori Fitzgerald at HRG Human Resources Group. My most important involvement with Lori was when we worked very closely together as we negotiated the first collective agreement between NIL/TU,O Child and Family Services and BCGEU. She was uniquely qualified to provide important insights for me in understanding considerations with respect to human resources, labour management, and the interactions with union representatives. As a First Nations’ organization it was very critical for us to have someone well-versed and current on labour management to assist us in preserving First Nations Considerations with respect to human resource management.
I deeply appreciated Lori’s extensive background, her professional ethics, broad human resource knowledge, her diligence and speed in working under pressure and under stress. Her humour was often helpful in diffusing tension and helping to restore values of patience and understanding. I would not hesitate to hire her again and deeply enjoyed our time together as I learned a great deal from her.

Lori and her team at HRG provided recruitment services during a major start up project at the EKATI Diamond Mine by building staff capacity in areas such as Heavy Equipment Operators, Journeymen, Engineers and, Human Resources positions to name a few. HRG were contracted remotely from British Columbia with regular visits to Yellowknife, NT. The team developed strong working relationships with in-house Human Resource staff and department hiring managers. They were considered part of the EKATI team and embraced our core values.
HRG were able to travel at last minute to Yellowknife when required and had no concerns with providing in-house coverage or taking on a high volume of recruitment files during peak periods. Their professionalism, strong knowledge of the mining industry and overall exceptional Human Resources services was appreciated at all levels of the organization. HRG brought high level Human Resource competencies and demonstrated an appreciation for our emphasis on developing a diverse workforce. I highly recommend Lori and the HRG team for your organization and am very thankful of the support during the Misery Pit Project.
