Lori Fitzgerald, CPHR – Principal Consultant
With over 25 years of experience as a Human Resource practitioner, Lori’s passion is assisting employers and employees in meeting their professional and corporate goals. An employee with a clear understanding of what is expected of them and a recognition of how their employer can help them with that understanding, is an engaged and productive part of the team.
Lori has gained the experience and knowledge of a seasoned professional through her work with private, public and non-profit organizations within British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
This experience includes expertise in all facets of employee and labour relation, recruitment and selection, performance management, development and implementation/delivery of policies and procedures and customized training. Lori is a member of the British Columbia Human Resource Management Association (BCHRMA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She possesses her CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation,a diploma of Technology in Human Resources Management from BCIT, and a certificate in Change Management (Prosci methodology).
Whether interviewing potential employees or conducting investigative interviews, Lori is successful in extracting information to formulate an accurate picture of the situation at hand and present her findings and recommendations in straightforward, thorough documentation. Her success is accomplished through the preparation of relevant questions and then applying these consistently through probing and confirmation.
